Contracts written in 2023–2024 have standardized pay across the ""Big 3"" (Delta, United, American), while top-tier regionals like SkyWest have raised rates to attract talent.
1. SkyWest Airlines (Regional)
First Officer (Year 1): Starts at ~$90/hr.
Annual Base: ~$86,000 (at minimum guarantee).
Realistic Total: With sign-on bonuses and flying over guarantee, many hit $90,000–$100,000.
Captain: Upgrades can happen in 2 years. Pay jumps to **$150/hr+** ($135k+ annual).
Note: SkyWest pilots fly the CRJ or E175 and feed into the major partners.
2. Delta Air Lines
